All is very good, I had a nice trip. It has optimal location, just off restaurant and the north-south Gotthard pass railway line. Further, there's Schollenen Gorge just a short stroll away from the hotel too...
Absolutely nothing.

The owners of the hotel, Alex and her husband, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even allowed us to check in early and prepared delicious cold platters for us when we arrived hungry after a long day in the alps. The hotel's location is perfect, situated between Passo St Gotthard and Passo Furka, making it convenient for travelers exploring the area. Additionally, the hotel had ample parking space for big cars and there was a great walking route for dogs just 50 meters away.
If you are accustomed to luxury hotels, this place might not be for you. The accommodations are basic and rustic, but this is fully in line with the description, so no complaints there.

The apartments at Chalet Hotel Krone in Goschenen are absolutely perfect for low-budget travelers like us. The rooms are cozy and homey, with wooden floors and a comfortable seating area where we could relax after a long day of exploring. Plus, the fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver, allowing us to whip up our own meals using the fridge, tea/coffee makers, and even a dishwasher. And did I mention the free Wi-Fi? Such a bonus!
Honestly, there's not much to complain about at Chalet Hotel Krone. But if I had to nitpick, I guess the hardwood floors in the rooms could be a tad noisy.

Convenient Location: The hotel, just a stone's throw from Goeschenen Train Station, is a great starting point for skiing in the Andermatt/Sedrun area. It's so close, you won't even break a sweat getting there!
Need better ventilation: Only one window in our room could be opened, leaving us sweltering in the heat. A bit more airflow or a cooling system would have made our stay much more comfortable.

The location was wicked, right by the train station and we could easily explore the awesome Schoellenen Gorge. The rooms were basic but super clean, and we had a TV room and kitchen area on our floor. Bonus points for the bomb food they served us, it was hella good!
The only thing we wished for was a sick party scene. Don't get me wrong, the hotel was chill and cozy, but as teenagers, we were hoping for some epic nightlife or cool events to amp up our stay.

And the best part? Creaky floors!
